Event Information

At Caracol, guests enjoy authentic coastal Mexican cuisine inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Mexico’s shoreline, complemented by award-winning wines and spirits and attentive service. Located at 2200 Post Oak Boulevard between San Felipe and Westheimer, our restaurant offers several beautiful private dining spaces ideal for gatherings of any size.

Caracol is perfect for business meetings, luncheons, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, graduations, company parties, holiday celebrations, cocktail parties, and more.

Our professional staff can assist with every detail, from menu planning to floral arrangements, and can also provide support with audio/visual equipment for presentations or entertainment. Guests can choose from a selection of suggested menus, or our culinary team can create a custom menu tailored to your event.

For celebrations beyond the restaurant, our team can also bring the flavors of Caracol to you with off-site catering. Whether you’re planning full-service catering or a simple drop-off, our team is here to make the process seamless.

Calamar

Calamar, named for the striking large squid artwork that defines the space, is tucked just off the main dining room. Filled with natural sunlight and featuring its own private patio, it offers a bright and inviting setting that is ideal for cocktail receptions and special events.

Capacity: 60 seated, 75 standing
Marea

Marea, meaning “tide,” is our private wine room located just off the bar. Framed by a dramatic window wall that showcases our wine storage, the space offers a unique view into our collection while creating a warm, refined atmosphere. This space provides an inviting setting for small dinners, tastings, and special gatherings.

Capacity: 16 seated, 20 standing
Acamaya

Acamaya, named for the large crawfish artwork that anchors the room, is located just off the main dining area. With its warm tones and inviting atmosphere, it offers a more cozy setting that feels welcoming and relaxed while still connected to the energy of the restaurant. It’s well suited for private dinners and small gatherings.

Capacity: 40 seated, 40 standing
Conchita

Conchita adjoins Acamaya through elegant wooden doors and is equipped with full audio and visual capabilities, making it ideal for presentations, meetings, or special dinners. This space offers a comfortable and intimate setting for your gathering.

Capacity: 16 seated, 18 standing
Gusano

The Gusano Bar, named for the worm found at the bottom of mezcal bottles, offers a vibrant, relaxed setting under sweeping canvas waves. With high-top tables and barstools, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy light, flavorful bar bites or the full menu. The space can be arranged for seated dining or cocktail reception style.

Capacity: 30 seated, 50 standing
Patio

Our large, open patio, featuring fountains and shaded seating, offers a bright and inviting outdoor setting with a flexible floorplan. The space can be arranged for seated dining or cocktail reception style. During December, the patio is tented and can hold 50 seated guests or up to 70 standing.
